Vincent Lannoo, born in Brussels in 1970, graduated from a performing arts high school and Belgium’s Broadcast
Arts Institute. After a string of short films, including the multiple-award-winning “I Love Movies”, his 2001 debut feature,
the Dogma-styled mockumentary “Strass”, shocked and delighted audiences and critics alike.
His second feature, “Ordinary Man” (2004), was a hybrid arthouse thriller, while his third film, “Vampires” (2010), returned to
the mockumentary comedy, turning the vampire genre on its ear. The film sold in all the large markets, including the U.S.
With “Little Glory” Lannoo uses the American social environment to explore intimate human drama rippling between the harshness of the world and resilience of the heart.
